Honorably discharged U.S. Navy disabled veteran. Originally from the Dominican Republic and
raised in New York, I bring a multicultural lens to my work, recognizing the importance of
identity, community, and context in healing. I earned my master’s degree in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and have over seven years of clinical experience supporting diverse populations including children, adolescents, veterans, and
multigenerational families. My background uniquely equips me to understand the emotional and
relational challenges that can arise from military service, transitions, and trauma. As a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist, I offer compassionate, culturally responsive psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families. My practice integrates evidence-based approaches through experiential therapy model lens applying a deep understanding of the complexities of human relationships, trauma, and resilience. Whether you are navigating anxiety, communication issues, parenting struggles, or life transitions, I offer a safe, supportive space to explore growth and healing. Sessions are available in English and Spanish.

I have been seeing Crystal for almost 2 years, and I would like to share my experience. I am a getting my MSW, so this is the perspective from someone whose career is within the helping profession who has experience with therapy. I initially reached out for help with depression, anxiety and self-esteem. I found Crystal’s and communication style extremely welcoming, and she reminds me within session that life is not linear, rather cyclical, and that healing is a process. This allows me to speak freely of judgment in our sessions on where I am, and to not fear shame or guilt as a result of it. While Crystal’s specialty is couples and family counseling, I have been seeing her individually; however, Crystal welcomes my partner within session at any time if I request! Her flexibility with participants in the therapy setting exemplifies her expertise with an array of modalities. More so, it highlights Crystal’s willingness to walk the journey with me by adapting, expanding or shifting her approaches. Crystal is a wonderful light and while I have put in the work to be where I am throughout my journey of acceptance and self-discovery, I would be dishonest if I didn’t accredit Crystal for being the support along the way. I went to therapy looking for a guide to my life, and Crystal grabbed the dust pan and the mirror and reminded me it was myself all along. I have grown in acceptance, satisfaction, and I have more peace within, and I hope for anyone struggling or reading this that you will have the courage to reach out. For me, it was the best decision I ever made. Thank you.
